No day is the same at the Badhotel Bruin! As a Duty Manager you are responsible for the daily operations in the entire hotel. You control the effectiveness of the team and assist them by supporting them where necessary. Your daily duties will consist of different tasks, such as supporting the F&B and the front desk department, setting up marketing, and administrative work. You will also have a lot of contact with your colleagues, ranging from attending a sheet meeting to a pleasant chat in the hallway. In addition, you will also take responsibility for safety in the hotel by conducting safety rounds and being in charge during a crisis. You will bring in new ideas for optimizing current operations and put them into practice. The Duty Manager reports to the General Manager, Robert Aukes and will also be supervised by him.
The Badhotel Bruin is a boutique hotel where the motto 'No is no option' is essential! The guests come to us because of the personal touch treatment and the cozy atmosphere. The hotel is in the middle of the lively Dorpsstraat and is a popular place for a cup of coffee with homemade apple pie, a good glass of wine or a stylish dinner in the evening.
What are we looking for?
- A young professional (a Higher Education Degree) with ambition.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player but also able to work independently.
- Working proactively.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- You understand that online feedback is an opportunity to put the hotel on the map.
- You deal discreetly with the information you receive on the work floor.
- You are flexible.
- Experience with the MEWS program is an advantage.
